Below you will find some limited information on selected segments of the 500-mile long Colorado Trail ("CT").  The authors of this website through-hiked the CT in 2003.  The information you will find in this section of The Colorado Hiker has not been updated since 2003 and is not meant to be a complete hiking guide for the CT.  Hikers should, at a minimum, consult The Colorado Trail Guidebook that is published by The Colorado Trail Foundation and relevant topographic maps.

• Location: Front Range & Kenosha Range

2. Colorado Trail (Segments 20 & 21)

• Distance: 27.0 miles (shuttle required)
• Difficulty: Very Hard
• Location: La Garita Wilderness Area

3. Colorado Trail (Segment 24)

• Distance: 27.0 miles (shuttle required)
• Difficulty: Very Hard
• Location: Weminuche Wilderness Area
